Flavoured white teas

A 19th century traveller noted that to make white teas, the Chinese exposed the freshly plucked leaves and buds to the sun and then to the shade. The leaves were delicately silvery, iridescent with a light white fuzz, and were large and unrolled.
This gives the white tea a very light apricot flavour that offers a cup with fresh, flowery notes. These blends are truly relaxing moments, light but full of pleasure.
